KIT Science Week 2025

We’re excited to announce that this year’s main in-person EPICUR Hubs offering will take place during the KIT Science Week 2025 in Karlsruhe, from October 14–17.

We kindly ask for your support in actively sharing this opportunity across your institutional and public channels.

Highlights include:

• GeneralKIT Science Week offerings throughout the week, focusing on this year’s topic “City of the Future”, featuring various events, talks, workshops, and more (some in English, others with live translation), bringing together academia and other members of society. The detailed programme will be made available here in September (for now, you can find a preview).
• Urban Transformation Conference (Oct 15–17), also featuring Eucor workshops for Early Career Researchers on Oct 14

• Citizen Science Offerings hosted by EPICUR & KIT Graduate School CuKnow:

• Citizen Science Workshop featuring leading experts Josep Perelló (University of Barcelona), Anne Kathrine Overgaard, and Thomas Kaarsted (University of Southern Denmark):
  • Learn how Citizen Science bridges research and society, how to integrate it into EU funding proposals, and how to develop project ideas using the CoAct toolkit.
  • Aimed at researchers (all levels and disciplines), university support staff, local NGOs, civil society members, municipal policymakers, librarians, and educators.
• 1:1 Consultation Sessions with Citizen Science experts to develop your project ideas
