EPICUR PhD Exchange Programme – Research, Training and Skills Development
Invitation to the Info Session
Are you EPICurious to gain first-hand interdisciplinary research experience with world-leading experts and access to research infrastructures at other European universities? Are you looking for opportunities to develop intercultural competence and other transversal skills through additional training to support and complement your research expertise? Would you like to expand your research networks and enhance your CV? Then the EPICUR PhD Exchange Programme might be just the thing for you!
What does the programme offer?
- The PhD Exchange Programme – Research, Training and Skills Development is an EPICUR mobility programme offering PhD candidates the opportunity to complete a cross-border exchange in one of the 8 EPICUR universities’ locations*
- Programme participants from all research fields are welcome (depending on the position requirements) and will be involved in current research projects at the providing research institutes (at the EPICUR university or in its region)
- Programme participants will be invited to participate in virtual workshops on the topic of intercultural competence and other additional skills to support and complement research expertise (not mandatory)
- Participants will be assigned a mentor at the receiving institute to provide ongoing guidance and support
- The exchanges will take place between February and July 2022 with a minimum duration of 2 months
- Participants may have the option to complete the exchange on site, virtually, or in a blended format (in consultation with the hosting research institutes)
* During the 2022 pilot run, exchange positions may not be available in all locations.
